Two friends were going through a forest - promising to stand by each other in danger - a bear appeared - one of them climbed a tree - the other friend had to lie on the ground as a dead man - the bear thought him dead and went away. Or, there were two friends. They lived in a certain village. They promised to help each other in times of danger. One day they were passing through a deep forest. Suddenly a bear stood in front of them. So both of them got scared and ..................

A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed (বিপদের বন্ধুই প্রকৃত বন্ধু) 

Answer: Once there lived two friends in a village near a big forest. They seemed very close to each other. Every day they actually met and spent a lot of time together. Everyone in the village knew this and thought they were true friends. One day two friends were passing through a forest. The forest was full of ferocious animals. Because they were so close, they promised to stand by each other in danger. Suddenly they saw a bear coming towards them. It was a ferocious bear. They got scared when they saw the bear. One of them knew how to climb trees. He has forgotten all his promises. His only concern was to save his own life. He immediately climbed a tree and hid himself. Another friend did not know how to climb trees. He thought of his false friend who had forgotten his promise. Having no other option, he fell to the ground like a dead man. He knew that bears do not eat dead people. The bear came to him and thought him dead. The false friend sitting in the tree saw everything. He looked around in silence. When he was sure that the bear was gone he came down from the tree, approached him and asked him what the bear had told him in his ear. In reply he said that the bear had said that 'unnecessary friends are indeed friends'.
