Completing Story: The boy who saved the train.

One sunny morning a boy of eleven years was tending cattle by the side of a railway line. Suddenly he noticed that a small railway slipper was about to collapse. A little while later, he remembered that a mail train was supposed to cross in about half an hour.

A little while later, he remembered that a mail train was supposed to cross in about half an hour time. He looked around and found none. His house was not nearby. At first, he was at a loss and could not think of the way to save the train. But soon he became normal and thought the consequence of it. If the accident took place, hundreds of people would die. So, he must do something to save the train and the passengers. He looked at his shirt which was red in color. A new idea came in his head. He put off his shirt, tied it with the stick which he used for driving the cattle.

Then he stood on the railway line and hold the stick up as a signal man. The driver of the train noticed it and he realized the matter by inference. He managed to stop the train. The driver along with many passengers got off the train and saw the collapsed railway slipper. They embraced the boy warmly and thanked him for saving their lives. All praised him for his wit and responsibility. The little boy felt himself important.
