A Winter Morning 

The months of Poush and Magh are called the winter season in our country. The mornings of these months are winter mornings. Morning is the most significant part of a winter day. A winter morning generally appears with some exceptional natural diversities. Very often it is misty and cold. There is often dense fog. Sometimes the fog is so dense that it hides everything and even things at a little distance can hardly be seen. Even the mighty sun cannot show its bright face crossing the density of fog. So everything sinks into gloom. Dew drops shine on them. They glitter like pearls. Different people act differently in a winter morning. 

Children, the old, the patient and the idle don't want to come out of the warm hit and enjoy the comfort of bed for long. Active, nature worshipper and health conscious people rise early and enjoy the charms of the morning. Day laborer's, factory workers and garment workers are seen walking towards their working places trembling in cold. Village people, especially the warm-clothes poor and the old bask in the sun or make a fire to warm themselves.

তাই সবকিছু অন্ধকারে ডুবে যায়। শিশির বিন্দু তাদের গায়ে জ্বলজ্বল করছে। তারা মুক্তোর মতো চিকচিক করে। শীতের সকালে বিভিন্ন মানুষ ভিন্নভাবে কাজ করে। শিশু, বৃদ্ধ, রোগী এবং নিষ্ক্রিয় লোকেরা গরমের আঘাত থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে চায় না এবং দীর্ঘক্ষণ বিছানার আরাম উপভোগ করতে চায় না। সক্রিয়, প্রকৃতি উপাসক এবং স্বাস্থ্য সচেতন লোকেরা ভোরে উঠে এবং সকালের মোহনীয়তা উপভোগ করে। দিনমজুর, কারখানার শ্রমিক ও গার্মেন্টস শ্রমিকদের ঠান্ডায় কাঁপতে কাঁপতে কর্মস্থলের দিকে হাঁটতে দেখা যায়। গ্রামের মানুষ, বিশেষ করে গরম কাপড়ের গরীব ও পুরানো ঝুড়ি রোদে বা আগুন জ্বালায় নিজেদের গরম করার জন্য। 

প্রাণীরা সরাতে চায় না পাখিরা সাধারণত তাদের বাসাতেই থাকে। একটি শীতের সকাল ধনী ব্যক্তিদের জন্য অনেক আকর্ষণ নিয়ে আসে। তারা মিষ্টি কেক, খেজুরের রস, সবজি খিচুড়ি ইত্যাদির মতো অনেক সুস্বাদু খাবার নিয়ে সকাল উপভোগ করতে ব্যস্ত হয়ে পড়ে। শীতের সকাল প্রায়শই নিস্তেজ হয় তবে এর অনেক আকর্ষণও রয়েছে।
