Load-shedding is a very common and disturbing issue in Bangladesh that hampers the daily lifestyle and economy. It refers to the deliberate stopping of electricity supply to avoid an entire grid shutdown because of the demand exceeding the availability, or sometimes due to distribution imbalances. It brings huge problems at homes, stopping all household works and the studies of its students. It also becomes a loss of money and employment for the industries because mills and factories stop. Hospitals are severely affected, and companies lose money on goods gone bad. Load shedding becomes the bottleneck of development, and the government needs to determine solutions to this problem right now so as to ensure a smooth and stable flow of electricity in every part of the nation.
