The life of a farmer paragraph for class 6,7,8- 150 words

A farmer is a hardworking individual who devotes his life to the cultivation of the land and growing of food on which most of us survive. He lives in the countryside. His day commences much before the rise of the sun, and he spends the whole day working in the fields. The farmer tills the soil and sows seeds in it. He waters them and cares for them until they are old enough to be harvested and taken off to market. His work is relentless as he works under a broiling sun and biting cold to make sure the plants have enough water and other important nutrients. He often gets so busy with this work that lunch is consumed in the field without a break. A farmer rarely complains about the work he does or the life he leads. It is the silent strength of the farmer and his commitment that makes him a truly respectable man and an important element in the growth and development of our country.

A farmer's life is one of endurance and sacrifice. The work is tough, entailing several hours out in the field in the blazing sun or in the cold. There are many days when he becomes so engrossed that lunch is eaten right there in the field, not even allowing himself the luxury of a break. Despite such toiling, which usually takes much of his energy away, the rewards he reap are meager. He has problems feeding his family with good food and clothing them decently, like others, and his labor is not always rewarded fairly.

Yet, more admirable about the farmer is his capacity to accept and be content. He rarely complains but takes life's challenges with quiet dignity.
