Computer means an instrument that counts. Now it has become a wonderful electronic device of storing, calculating, analyzing, data preparing, photographing, almost everything. An American scientist Howard Akin invented it in 1937. From its initial stage it has advanced so far that it can alone solve hundreds of complex things. It is the wonder of the wonders of modern science. Three types of computers are there. They are Analogue computer, Digital Computer and Hybrid computer. Mainly it works through Central processing unit (CPU), the input and the output. Modern life beginning from education to business is now unimaginable without computer. In factory management, in air or sea navigation, in information transmission everywhere computer is indispensable. Modernity in a word now means computer. So modern man literally means a computer based man. In some way or otherwise modern man is dependent on computer. Even a very common man uses mobile phones and mobile phones are computer based phones. Briefly life in 21st century is a computer life as the century itself is a computer century. With the advancement of the century computer will also advance and it is beyond imagination what the hard discs and soft discs of computers will bring for us. We must wait for more wonders of computer in future.

A computer is an electrical device capable of calculating, storing, retrieving and organizing data, playing games and music, and controlling other devices. It is also capable of a wide range of additional tasks. It is incapable of doing anything on its own. It works according to the operator's command. The history of computer invention is extensive. It took some time to invent it. Inventing computers requires a lot of effort and time. A computer has five main parts. They include control unit, memory unit, input unit, output unit and arithmetic unit. A computer can perform at least three tasks. It first receives the data. Third, it outputs the data after processing the data through various computations in the second step. It makes us easier to carry. It helps us to complete our huge and complex tasks in a surprisingly short time. We can also find data and information with its help. It has greatly facilitated modern living. We watch a lot of amusing shows on it when we have free time. Thus, it benefits us in many ways by making our work easier and more enjoyable. Computer education is available to us in various domestic and international institutes. You can get help from any reputed computer training center if you just want to know how to use a computer for basic tasks.

However, if we want to learn more about computers, we should apply to universities and enroll in computer science programs. Nowadays, in all institutions, both public and private, as computers are now required in all institutions, both public and private, including banks and insurance companies, businesses, shops, offices, educational institutions and medical science departments, among others. Like Aladdin's lamp, that is. We cannot live without computers even for a split second. It now forms an integral part of our daily existence.
